Dr. Seiler will have two sessions for our Next Level Leadership Series. Here are the sessions she will be teaching
Session 1 : Why Gender Matters: A Biblical Theology of Sexuality
Dr. Seiler shares her journey of same-sex attractions and transgender desires, followed by a biblical theology of sexuality based on her research. Leaders will be equipped to respond to the contemporary concepts of sexual orientation and gender identity and gain practical insights to pastor those who identify as LGBTQ.
Session 2 : The Five Streams: Differing Responses to LGBTQ
Dr. Seiler will explain five Christian responses to LGBTQ and how seemingly subtle differences have far-reaching implications both theologically and pastorally. Familiarity with the five streams will equip leaders to discern which contemporary resources are biblically sound and most helpful to those who struggle with their sexuality.
