Superintendent John Davis commemorates Martin Luther King Jr. Here is the transcript.

Today is February 16th, and it's also known as Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

It's a day in which we are remembering the life and Ministry

of a Baptist Minister who was also a civil rights leader within

our nation. So we thank him for his commitment to Racial equality

and his involvement in social change.

I'd like to share a quote with you that he left us. He said, "Every genuine expression of Love Grows out of a consistent and total surrender to God."

And certainly, that is what we are wanting to do is be surrendered to Him in the way we treat one another.

He also gave a prayer, and I'd like to take his prayer and apply it to our lives today.

He said, "Use me, God show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do and use it for a purpose greater than myself."

May Each of us grow in our commitment to our God. And love one another and bring about equality and change in the way we are responding to one another in America, loving God as He wants us to, loving one another as He wants us to

Bringing about the kinds of relationships that are pleasing in God's sight.
