Camps

Camps

At our three campgrounds in the Wisconsin / N. Michigan Ministries Network, we aim to provide Christ-centered camping and retreat experiences. To further our mission of providing individuals, churches, and especially young people with a setting for spiritual growth, personal development, and Christian community, we also host various camps at each location. Our network churches see the camps as an essential part of their mission to provide campers a safe and spiritually enriching space.

At the Junior Leadership Development Academy (JLDA), young men from all walks of life are encouraged to work together and develop their leadership potential. JLDA supplements the Royal Ranger sessions held each week by providing training in niche skills that some Outposts may not have access to. Boys may look forward to thrilling skill-building opportunities, laser-focused servant leadership instruction, and life-changing opportunities for spiritual growth at these annual camps. After completing these camps, the boys are awarded a saber as a symbol of their achievement.

The Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship (FCF) is an extension of the Royal Rangers that encourages young men and boys to learn about the history and culture of the early American frontier via immersive camping experiences. Members of the FCF attend camps where frontier skills are both taught and exhibited. Events that showcase the enthusiasm, color, and flair of frontier America are frequently held to encourage the development of these abilities and showcase them to our Royal Ranger Outposts.
